myfitnesspal no longer runs on my Samsung Galaxy phone

Its about 2 or 3 years old, a Samsung Galaxy with 16 gb memory, but it has Android 8. I try to login, but it says my password is invalid, and if I try forgot password, it says my email is invalid. But if I try to register it, it says my email is already in use. I logged in here, but most of my recipes are gone.

I had bought the PC version years ago, and moved to the free phone app version. Its been too long.

Anyway, I read the app won't work on Android 8, and my recipes are lost, so I guess unless you reply with a nice surprise, this is goodbye.
