You won't gain weight from one tortilla. If it fits in your calorie goals for the day, a flour tortilla is fine for weight loss. If you are limiting carbs, there are still tortillas which might work for you. I'm a type 2 diabetic and routinely eat La Banderita's Carb Counter tortillas and Mission's Carb Balance tortillas.

    Thank you
On a calorie deficit you can eat anything
    And drink anything

As long as you stay within your calories, yes. Keep in mind, most reliable studies show that protein will help keep you feeling fuller, making it easier to stick to your deficit.

not sure why one tortilla would be considered a problem - seems an easy enough food to fit into a calorie allowance.

Photo above looks yummy - however if you want to, you could easily have the filling without the wrap

I use low carb tortillas in leiu of sliced bread, and have at least one every day.

Todays lunch was sliced smoked pork and sugar-free spicy BBQ sauce, wrapped in a tortilla.

Tomorrow will be sliced leftover grilled steak and some Swiss cheese I have hanging around, in a couple of tortillas, heated quesadilla style in a dry pan (no butter or oil. The oil in the cheese is plenty to keep it from being too dry.)

I always keep extra grilled meat in the fridge and a bag or flour tortillas on hand for a quick, nutritious wrap.

My husband like deli meats and cheeses in a tortillas wrap.

    Have you tried rounds?

    e.g.

100 calories per sandwich, consisting of top+bottom. I use tortillas in lieu of sliced bread too, but these are my main for sandwiches.
