Muscle without the bulk.

I lost about 6lbs since I updated my profile pic and I know I def lost some of the muscle going into my cut, I can see more definition but im def not as bulky as I was in that picture. Now to figure out how to get my muscle back without having to bulk. When I was trying to build muscle I was eating around 2300 calories and working out 4-5 days a week, now I consume 1760 or less and workout 2-3 x week, i dont want to go get thick like I was before. One thing for sure is I def think consuming my protein shake again on the days I do workout will hopefully help me put the muscle back on without the bulk. Any advice?
