That is my trainer's theory that kind of makes sense to me.
She thinks that continuously losing weight straight is not as great as letting your body rest at a certain weight for a while.
Because your body perceives your weight loss as a stressor, and it loosing non-stop for a prolonged period of time makes it want to "defend" its weight even harder and is unnecessary stress for the body.
We are talking about somebody of healthy weight.
