Back in the saddle

I took summer vacation from dieting. I had been doing low carb (almost 30 lbs in a couple months, yay me!) and was completely unwilling to go fresh produce season without eating as many fresh sweet veggies and fruit as I wanted. I only gained back a small amount, and judging my the disappearance of my ankle bones, most of that was probably water.

I started back on low carb induction 3 days ago. I had booked a 4 day long weekend so I could deal with the jitters and crabbiness before I had to think too hard, but my carb withdrawals haven't been as bad as I expected. I guess I must have eaten better than I thought... it feels like I spent the entire summer eating.

I'm totally new to the whole forum support thing so I'm not sure how it will help me. I work at a computer all day, so I really don't care to check messages when I get home. Any suggestions there? I have a pretty full life and there's nothing that I'm really willing to trade in favour of sitting in front of a keyboard. I think just the tracking tools themselves are the most fantastic thing ever! Especially since all my recipes etc from the first time around are still there, so the "setup" part of weight loss is already in place and waiting for me. :)

However I *do* have great understanding family and friends who help me over the rough patches, and who know not to discuss food with me. Food discussions ALWAYS lead me someplace I should't be... usually in front of the toaster. LOL
