Because you're pregnant and very underweight, you should discuss this with your doctor.
In general, it's easier to add calories with high fat food as fat has 9 calories per gram as compared to carb and protein's 4 calories per gram. So, more butter, oil, cheese, nuts, nut butter, fattier cuts of meat, full fat everything, etc.
But do put a call in to your doctor today.2 -
Nuts - peanut butter or walnut butters - 190 cals per tablespoon.
Cook with olive oil.
Olive oil 120 cals per tablespoon.
There are also weight gainer protein powders… agree to check in with your dr.0 -
Smoothie? Your favorite, not mine. Slip a little natural nut butter in. Hardly noticeable, but good for nutrition and calories.
Cheese? If it's not too filling.0
