Third times a charm? I keep trying to log an introduction and get interrupted, only to come back and what I typed is gone. 🤦🏼♀️
I am a youthful 62 year old, retired and split time between Alaska and the Arizona desert.
I could use help motivating myself to stay active when it’s 110° outside. Positive, funny, upbeat, artistic creatives are my People! Is that you?!
Last time I joined a couple years ago, I kept receiving requests from men who were trying to initiate inappropriate interaction, so I changed my profile photo and that stopped it. I’m fine w male friend requests, but this isn’t a dating app, so don’t make things awkward.
My last two bloodwork panels indicate that I am prediabetic. My Alaska Native heritage predisposes me to diabetes. Instead of jumping on that fast track; I’m in a mindset to positively address it. In the last four weeks, I have kept my carbs under 50 gram a day and have lost 10 pounds and so much belly inflammation is gone! I’m inspired!!
My husband and I bought e-bikes about a year ago, and during the winter months ride the trail system around Tucson almost daily, logging 30-60 miles each outing! We’ve explored and rode our bikes in Phoenix, Flagstaff, Palm Springs, Santa Barbara, and Taos and a few other little towns. The extreme heat of the summer, is my nemesis, however. I go to the pool on days the sun isn’t actively trying to kill me. But I desire more activity.
I used to do Jane Fonda’s original workout in the 80s and just need to get back into an indoor fitness routine. Can you relate?
Please reach out and join me!!

I'm in the Phoenix area! It's definitely a challenge to not be able to go outside during a good chunk of the year. Sending a friend request.0
