Garmin Venu 2 Plus and steps burnt from calories how to sync on MFP

I have a Garmin Venu 2 Plus and I would to see my calories burnt from my steps on MFP.
Previously I had a fitbit which displayed calories burnt by exercise which included steps.
The garmin will show me calories burnt after fitness mode selected ie. if i set it to a workout/walking however I need it for total steps and for it to show the calorie adjustment on MFP. Please help with this. I have an iphone.
