Looking for friends to motivate!

Hi all!

I've been around on MFP for a long time, but never really posted.

I need help.

I was down 30, but have gained a lot back over the last month. New job. Kids gone at dad's. All sorts of excuses for not eating right, logging or getting to the gym.

I need motivators!

I'm 36. Engaged -- planning the wedding (which we just moved back a year!). Work 40+ hours a week as a manager in IT. Have 2 kids aged 9 & 11.

I want to lose another 40 lbs at minimum. I know I can do it, I just need someone to motivate and keep me accountable.

Anyone interested in helping?

    Hi Mel,

    Wow you've done well, 30lb is a massive achievement.

    I can't even contemplate how hard it must be to fit in getting to the gym when working 40+ hours with 2 kids in toe...I work 30+ and have no kids (I'm only 21) and only manage to squeeze it in 3/4 times a week.

    Keep going Mel, think about your wedding day pictures and how proud of yourself you will be at the time. Think of how confident you will feel if you reach your goal weight before the big day!

    I always find it helps to take 1 minute out of life after a meal or snacking, and just getting back into the habit of logging everything. I don't tend to snack much so this isn't that hard for me at the moment, but I think once you get back into the swing of things...it will come a lot easier for you.

    Good luck with everything, you're doing great just keep going!
