Fell off of diet & I don't care! Have you noticed this?

First, yes, I kinda fell off of my diet, but that's okay. I'm not mad. I'm just gonna [strike]start over [/strike] continue!

My go-to food that I used to eat when I was craving something or that I used to eat to avoid getting hungry (mandarin orange cups) has not been readily available to me (by my own doing). I started buying them in a can, which requires a can opener. Apparently, I'm too lazy to open a can when I want some. So, I eat something else, like sugar-free cookies (which I know aren't all too great for you). So, maybe this will help someone who just grabs the first thing when they're hungry-have healthy snacks available instead.

Also, I feel like I'm dehydrated. My lips are dry. When I started obsessively drinking 16 oz of water every few hours (I pre-logged it. LOL), I don't remember my lips being chapped. Now, I don't think that I'm drinking as much water. Do you find that you crave food more or overeat when you're thirsty or dehydrated?
