If I set my Fats at 60% Protein 30% Carbs 10% why is my Grams of Protein higher than my Grams of Fats

    The percentages are percent of daily calories. Fat is 9 calories per gram and protein is 4 calories per gram. It takes 2.25 grams of protein to equal the same calories as one gram of fat.

    Yep, what Murphmom said. It also means you can eat over twice the amount of protein for the same amount of calories as you can fat. Which is why it can make a lot of sense to decrease fat and increase protein. It means more food for you.
