When using my Garmin app linked to MyFitnessPal, I can't figure out how to get calories consumed to show.,

I'm not sure I understand what you mean: are you trying to see your food calories in the Garmin app?
When you have a fully functional sync between Garmin and MFP, you should see your consumed calories in the Calories In/Out of the Connect app (under health stats).
Or am I misunderstanding your question?0
