Looking for "pals" over age 60, please

This is not my first rodeo. I lost 65 lbs. on MFP 12 years ago, but I have slowly and surely gained it all back, thanks to a bad heart, bad knees, and raging arthritis. Finding it hard to lose weight now because of health issues and age. Looking for friends who've "been there, done that, still doing it". Thank you.

I’m a been there, done that type of person. Lots of health issues have inspired me to get healthy and get the most out of life. Definitely over 60years old. Diabetic, hbp, cholesterol, artery issues, osteo arthritis . Everything is getting better as I lose weight. I could barely move before I started to eat and live better last March. Started by counting calories on here and didn’t do anything else for many months. Then, slowly added in some gentle swimming, months later added osteo aerobics which is for older people. Hoping to sign up for dragon boat racing by next spring.
Sorry for your health issues. The arthritis is brutal, but exercise and weight loss may help you. It’s helping me.
I know people say it’s harder to lose as you age, but I don’t know any differently. I was in shape when young.1 -
Another one here: 62, have a weird connective-tissue disorder that caused a few problems when I was younger (vision, scoliosis) but in recent years has morphed into a source of greater musculoskeletal, cardiac, mobility, and other difficulties. Now to lose weight is more pressing but also more challenging. I have a stationary bike at home and have been doing some stretching and other exercises from physiotherapy and some online videos (SeniorShape) as well as weighing food faithfully.
