it's not noom - it doesnt have a date goal. it will tell you at the end of every logged day how much weight you'd lose in 5 weeks if every day was just like it. (i've been losing weight faster) This lets you adjust what you're doing or what you want to do if that rate of weight loss isn't ideal for you.
(I've figured out from that daily report that I need to stay under my exercise-adjusted calorie goal every day and get up to walking 8 miles per day with 2 daily walks to lose weight by the time I'd like to - so I'm working on increasing my pace per hour/getting up to jogging because I dont have more than 2 hours per day to spend walking. -- and also that I need an alternative to morning coffee with creamer. Still trying to find one- but at least I'm aware.)

You don't choose a target date, you choose a target rate of loss per week.0
