Trying something new

Hi. I have been around here for a while! I usually do things all or nothing, base weight goals on how many weeks I have until an event etc and it hasn't been working for me.
From now on, I'm going to try and work on effort goals rather than result based goals. So how much water I can drink per day, how many minutes I would like to walk, how many pieces of fruit did I have today?
Another thing I'm doing is picking a few focuses for each day and achieving those things instead of trying to do everything perfectly.
