Two workouts a day?

Lately I've been working out twice a day and loving it. It usually totals to an hour (half hour or so when I wake up and the same a little while after dinner) with one rest day. I'm definitely going to continue, but my question is whether I should separate them and do one earlier and one later, or should I do them one right after the other in one go. I was short on time the other day and did both back to back. I still had enough energy to finish and do the exercises with proper form. One workout is more cardio and the other is more strength, so I would do cardio first if I did them together. Are there any benefits of doing the workouts together? Or does it not really matter? Time isn't much of an issue since I work from home.

The fresher you are, the harder you can work. The harder you can work, the better the results.

    More workouts = better.

If we were all the idle rich and didn't have other stuff to do, the absolute best way would be to workout and eat all day long.

    Hey Aqua,

I too work from home and generally workout twice per day most of the week. I prefer to workout first thing in the morning and once again a couple of hours after dinner. My workouts last for 45 mins - 1 hour. However some days I do light cardio then some strength-training in the morning and nothing in the evening or vice versa.

I'm not sure if there are any benefits or not, but I like the results and also varying my workouts by mixing things up. Maybe trying seeing how you're feeling and take it from there.
