New & very inexperienced at food logging

Hello all, I'm new to My fitness pal 2nd time around. Last time I just logged food with no understanding of what I needed.

Just signed up on the protien programme & reading stuff there. Also, My fitness pal has suggested almost equal amounts of protien as carbs but I think I need more protein working nights & gyming after a 10 hr night shift in a very active job. Seems easy to get lost down a rabbit hole but it helps to remember I'm on a long term journey adapting to changes with food and exercise in the short. Also, I'm possibly also perimenapausal. Anyway, looking forward to learning from your posts. 🌼👍
