Any recommendations for good sports psychology books?

I’ve been having some sports psychology coaching which has massively helped my nerves (don’t enjoy all the eyes on me when I lift) but I’d also like to read some stuff. Obviously there is tonnes out there, so I’d love to hear about any books / publications people rate or found helpful. Hit me!

My sports psychology advice. Always do the little things. Like reracking weights in the correct place. Seems petty but taking the approach that the little things matter will habitually have you paying attention to things like form, execution, what surface you train on, shoes and accessories you use like straps, wraps, etc. To many people all they care about is form or how much weight they can move.

I completely agree with all of those things. I maybe didn’t explain myself well though - I’ve got no problem lifting in front of others but when I compete on a stage in absolute silence with an audience staring hard at me, I find the nerves can affect my performance. So I’ve been working on channeling the nervous energy into a positive rather than a terrifying experience. But I know pro / experienced athletes have support with this and many have written books.

I have qualified for the UK Master Nationals and I want to continue working on the nerves so that I don’t freeze!

It's a great question. I'm looking forward to anyone responding with other book recommendations.

These guys wrote two. I read this one.
