Willpower

I have tried dieting in the past and always found that I had no willpower to stay on track for more than a couple of weeks at the most. Since joining MFP in mid June I have surprised myself with just how much willpower I have. A trip to Boston Pizza this weekend would usually have had me eating nachos and jambalaya fettucine, but I couldn't bring myself to eat all those calories and had the garlic schezuan pizza instead. We used to eat out every Saturday, but this is the first weekend we have gone out since I joined. I'm still not eating as healthy as I could be and I could definitely do more excercise, but I think that will come in time. I am constantly checking the boards for information and motivation, and I and think I may have actually become addicted. This site is exactly what I needed to get me moving in the right direction.

    Good for you :) I know I am eating right just because of this site and all the wonderful friends I have here :)

    I totaly feel the same way. This sight has really kept me on track and I feel bad when I log a donut for breakfest. :laugh:
