Sudden increase in calorie burn on apple watch and health after linking MFP + 3.5k cal goal??

Okay, so, I have a few questions as I am GENUINELY at a loss. I’m an 199lb 5’6 23 year old female with my goal at 0.5 loss prt week and signed up as I want to turn my life around but the app is giving me some seriously mixed signals. With mild activity selected and all my information properly inputted, it’s telling me I need around 3.5k calories per day. Even stranger, my apple watch has shot up in calorie burn/move activity (the red bar) from a usual 800 to nearing 1600, resting burn also jumped up to like 3000- I clean boats AND some days do desk work as a full time job for reference. All settings involving data transfer with the health app is on and the mfp app is gathering step data from my watch.

Am I deeply inexperienced and don’t understand what’s happening here, or is there something I’m doing wrong? The negative calorie setting is enabled too. I was able to lie and state that my activity is almost zero and got the daily down to 2.9k, but I don’t know. What am I doing wrong?

Are you logging any activity/ exercise on MFP directly, or are you entering everything via Apple?

The sync with Apple has ax long standing reputation of being 'wonky' but that's usually on MFP's side (wrong calorie adjustment), I've never heard of an Apple-MFP sync causing a higher calorie estimation on Apple's end.
