Hello im 6’1 245. Gym 4-6 days a week 45 mins sessions. Thoughts about what my daily calorie intake should be?

    For weight management, target whatever calories MFP estimates, given your accurate profile settings and goals. Follow that for 4-6 weeks, then compare actual scale weight results to the goal you set. If necessary, adjust calorie goal based on experience, using the assumption that 500 calories daily is roughly a pound of weight change per week. Use arithmetic for fractional pounds.

    For health or body composition, also get decent overall nutrition on average. For most people, as long as they don't try to lose weight stupid-fast, the MFP default goals aren't a terrible starting point, while a person learns more about nutrition. For athletic or body composition goals, protein is especially important, but not the only important thing.
