Robert Mitchum in "Dead Man" is the best.

Yes, this is a straight ripoff of the wildly successful "women" thread. Hopefully sucess breeds success.

I'm not sure this "Men" will fly here. What do you think about a thread like this?0

I , for one, am not clear on the purpose of this thread.

As MFP groups are dead, I threw the hook here in the discussion threads. I support your confusion. If nothing else, how do you feel about smoking an occasional cigar, like in the picture?0

I am highly sensative to nicotine, ie. exposure makes me feel quite ill. That all started when I was cleaning offices back in the day when people could still smoke in their office. Cleaning ash trays exposed me to lots of nicotine which at the time I didn't know could be absorbed through the skin. I got quite ill, and my doctor could not figure out why. I stopped work because of it, got better, then got sick again once I started cleaning offices again. I eventually clued in on the cause. Ever since then, exposure to smoke makes me feel quite ill. Before that I enjoyed a pipe of cigar on occasion. Now, I simply try to avoid smoke from anything that contains nicotine although I love the smell of pipe smoke.0

I am a little surprised that there are not more men posting here. I know there are men 50+ on MyFitnessPal.1

Me too. It is a generational twist. My folks smoked, and as a kid cleaning ash trays, and dumping the garbage was torture. None of us kids took it up.
I've smoked probably ten cigars in my life, and it's kind of fun. If I never smoked another it would be fine.
I get all twisted around other people smoking nearby. So I go out of my way to avoid it. Fortunately where I live, and in the year of our lord 2023, fewer people smoke than back in 1995 when my state imposed it's indoor smoking ban.0 -

Fewer people smoke cigarettes or cigars here as well, but with Canada legalizing marijuana walking around any city downtown areas means smelling pot smoke which is a smell I really don't like.

Ah, the purpose of the the thread is becoming clear. A place for 50+ men to complain about the world.1 -

My PSA numbers have been elevated for a couple of years.
I'm not happy thinking about a biopsy.
How are they?0
