Struggle: Missed last week. I broke my collarbone and wasn't doing much of anything for a bit. Got a doctor appointment to see why I passed out. Anyway, this means very little exercise, so I am resetting my calorie goal lower for a while.
Success: Back to typing with both hands and all in all, doing much better. Can't drive for 3 weeks and want to see the doctor before I do anyway to figure out what is going on.3 -

Actually I weighed myself on Sunday Oct 1st as I was away on Monday morning. We were away for just two nights but when I weighed myself on Wednesday morning, I was 49.9 kg! Driving several hours each way on Sunday and Tuesday, meals out, hotel breakfasts ….. etc. I did get lots of walking done on Monday, sightseeing. I’m only home for 3 nights and then away again.
We have four holidays booked for October, postponed from the spring because of the uncertainty around my hip op. I shall have to be very strict with calories between trips.
Thanks to @missperfectpitch for keeping this thread going, it’s a lifesaver!

Successes/struggles of the week: Things have been very busy lately, but still making sure that I try to fit in my workouts most days of the week, even if some days they end up being very short workouts and/or I don't put in a ton of effort into them. Hoping that things will calm down soon to be able to do longer workouts again.1 -

I was away from Friday morning to Monday evening. I did weigh my self on Tuesday morning but I’m not reporting it just yet as it is obviously distorted. This morning (Wednesday) I have already dropped by 400g, expect to drop more by the end of the week.0 -
Here's a weird one.
My weight is going up out of maintenance again. Yep. When I entered today's weight in my spreadsheet, the last time the scale showed that number was exactly one year ago today. Other stats are about the same as then, too. Very interesting, but I can't really call it maintenance. Well, I could, but it wouldn't be anywhere near my maintenance GOAL weight - just a weight I seem to end up over and over.
Let's see if I can turn this around without getting sick or injured. Let's see if I can avoid gaining even MORE which is what I actually did a year ago.

Success of the week: I got to give someone a shuttle upriver so they could do a three-day two-night solo paddling trip. Great way to spend three hours helping out a fellow river traveler. I also spent about four hours the day before helping pick up garbage on a two-mile section of river in town as a project for a non-profit I support. We go out twice a month and always fill the boats. Very sad.
Struggle of the week: Seeing all the garbage over and over in the river, especially when we can't get to some of it, and especially when the leadership of my community fails to do anything about it. That and my mass is still slowly going up.

I'm away from home (again!) But I weighed in at 49kg on the dot this morning and yesterday. Trend weight is at 49.6 kg due to weight gain over last weekend.
I'm pleased that I lost 1.5 kg in just a few days, obviously fluid retention and stuff.1 -

Struggle: I was hoping I would take better control over my diet. I started the week logging everything, looking at how much protein and fiber I am getting and how to adjust but off the wagon toward the end of the week.2 -

Success of the week: After not playing for quite a long time, I played two rounds of disc golf, and I really enjoyed it. The first round was a private course in the coast range about a half mile away. It's a very nice, but very challenging, course. Then I went to my neighborhood course the next day. Much easier. I also got to go paddling.
Struggle of the week: My shoulder didn't like playing that much golf. Old injuries, and just not using that set of muscles for a long time. I hope I can play again soon and NOT feel pain. I was at least glad I was able to load my 52 pound canoe on my car and that I was able to paddle without any pain.

Struggles:
I’ve been away on holiday a lot this month, indeed, returned on Friday from 5 nights away eating hotel breakfasts and dinners. I weighed exactly 49 kg on Sunday morning before leaving, and 50.5 kg on Saturday morning after returning (Friday was spent travelling from 8.30 am until 9.30 pm). But on Saturday afternoon I became unwell and on Sunday morning I weighed in at 48.6 kg! Nearly 2 kg lost (over 4 lb) in one day – probably the entire contents of my digestive system. (TMI I know). Not an enjoyable way to lose weight, but it will settle down over the next few days.
I’m away again over the coming weekend.
Successes:
The hotel had a pool and I swam every day – first time in the pool since my hip op.
Also did lots of walking – sightseeing – we were in Scotland, beautiful!

Success: I have been doing pretty good eating the right foods and drinking more water.
Struggle: Getting my walks in, I was too busy and today, I just didn't feel good enough. Still struggling after breaking my collarbone. I miss yard work and getting outside.

As a result, my weight has been higher since I got back and haven't yet gotten back on track with my daily workouts. Success of the week: Moving back into maintenance range. Yay. I'm feeling more in control. I'm also taking care of a couple very small kittens while their person is on vacation. They were rescued from a feral mom; I'm trying to socialize them and of course spoil 'em. Off to a mushroom festival - the largest on the west coast.

Successes/struggles:
I was away for a long weekend so not at home on my usual weigh-in day (Monday). I weighed 50.5 kg on Tuesday morning after a day travelling, but down to 50.2 kg this morning (Wednesday).
Quite pleased with this month overall – lots of holidays but my average and trend weight are still hovering around my goal 50kg.
November is quieter for a few weeks - time to focus again.

Successes/struggles of the week: Getting back on track slowly but surely with workouts and eating healthier. However, I have a vacation coming up in 2 weeks, where I know I'll be indulging, so I'm doing my best now to be good and lose a bit of this excess weight before the vacation.2
