Hi everyone still working the program I think it’s been over two weeks.
I would like to know if anyone has tried to cook tofu. I thought I would try something new. Does anyone have a good recipe? I am low carbs

Alton Brown's show Good Eats had a great episode on tofu if you can come by it.

If you're not familiar with the show, he tackles a specific food in every episode, going through all the tips and tricks and scientific and practical reasons behind working with that specific ingredient.

Basically he puts paper towels on a tray, gets a block of tofu out of the package and puts it on the paper towels, put on more paper towels, then put on another tray and a weight (cans or something). Leave it like that a couple hours, it squeezes out a lot of the liquid.

Then make a marinade and put the tofu in it. The tofu sucks up all the flavor. Then cut it into slices and bake it, broil it, or cut it into cubes and stir-fry it.

I've made some good tofu stir-fries using that method.

Also once or twice I made chocolate pudding or chocolate pies out of soft silky tofu. Kids didn't even know it was tofu.
