Hi, I’m Becky, I’ve been struggling with my weight for the past 16 years ( my youngest daughter’s age, not blaming her! 😉)and I’m hoping to reach my goals this year. I’ve lost and gained 20 lbs several times. I’d like to get past twenty and keep going this time!

    Hi Becky! As a mom of 3, I know how those hormones and that mommy lifestyle can affect the waistline for some of us. Congrats on a fresh start. There are great tools for tracking on MFP and the forums are full of very supportive people.

    Finding a routine that's personalized and relatively easy is a good goal, in my world. Exactly how that looks will differ from one person to the next, but the key things are enjoyable eating and fun (or at least tolerable/practical) exercise. Misery is optional, and burns no extra calories.

    I joined here at age 59, with a history of around 30 years of overweight/obesity. After a year of weight loss, I've stayed at a healthy weight for 7+ years since. It can work!

    I'm cheering for you to succeed, because the results are worth it!
