Hi all. I started 2 days ago and didn’t change anything yet. Tomorrow I get serious! I’m 65 and lost 25 pounds with Noom but gained it back in a year. I couldn’t stand their feedback “voice” and the expense would kill me. lol I’m not good at self disclosure, but I’m willing to give it a go.

Hello, and welcome!
I'm a long-time MFP-er, F and age 67, in long term maintenance after losing around 50 pounds back in 2015-16. I like the flexibility of allocating my calories the way I want to (though I do strive for good overall nutrition). It's worked pretty well so far.
You're right, free is good.
I hope you find success with MFP!
