Can't fully log in because forgot password & email address for reset info is DEAD

I haven't used the app in several years and want to start using it again. I can somehow get in via Facebook, but I can't do any changes to my profile pic or more importantly, I can't change my email address for the account. I thought I knew my password, but it's not being accepted. If I ask for a password reset, it goes to an email I no longer have and I cannot possibly receive it to get the ability to reset my password. So I can't change my email because I can't fully log in. I emailed support and they sent a generic reply telling me to request that my password be sent to the email address associated with the account that I no longer have access to. So I can't get anywhere with this.

Please help!

Well, after posting this, I somehow managed to change my email address. It said it would send me a confirmation email that it's been changed, but nothing has come. And I still can't change my password (because I don't remember that apparently I changed it) because it says I'm connected through something called SSO.

Contact support.

SSO = single sign on, i.e. you connected via your Facebook sign on. It's not letting you change the ID/password sign on because you came in through a different route.

If they allow using one sign-on to change another, that's enabling a method nefarious people use to take over someone's online identity across multiple sites. They compromise one account, use it to compromise (shut the true owner out of) other accounts.
