Motivation

Hi my name is AZ I started my journey 40days ago its been going but these last few days I feel like I let myself down, I haven't worked out (sadface) but I have stayed in Calorie deficit Need friends if anyone's willing this is hard alone..

    You haven’t let yourself down. If anything, you’ve lifted yourself up the past forty days.

    What’s changed? Why is it harder to work out now? Time constraint? Schedule change?

    Or is it because you’re too tired? That could be an indicator that you’re eating too little. Working out requires fuel. If you hump it too hard, you’re going to hit that brick wall on Quit Street.

    I would almost never workout if I relied on motivation. I used perseverance to create health habits. I struggle with depression and I especially don't feel like exercising on rainy or hot/humid days, so I joined a gym and force myself to go if needed.

    I also garden and with that my struggle is to not over do it :lol: But the weather doesn't always cooperate and I run out of projects, so the gym is a backup.

    I'm with you. I had some life events keep me from the gym for the past few weeks. I kept up with the diary and for the most part didn't have any over calorie days and I still lost a few pounds overall. Sent a friend request, keep up the good work though.
