Alternative to oatmeal

I don’t love oatmeal but I’ve been having eggs every morning and wanted something different. So I tried this oatmeal alternative:
3 tbsp almond flour
1/2 tbsp ground flaxseed meal
1/4 tsp stevia
2 tsp chia seeds
1 dash salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c boiling water
A couple of berries
1 tbsp walnuts
It did taste like oatmeal. I didn’t super love it but it’s a good low carb alternative

    I gotta look into it, I do low carb and I did like oatmeal but I've given up all grains. An alternative with almond flour & things like chia seeds would be a nice treat on those cold winter mornings when I miss my oatmeal.

    As for getting bored with eggs, I hear that. When I started low carb I ate eggs most days and got tired of them for a while. i just stopped worrying about what's a breakfast food/what's a lunch food etc. So I'd eat dinner leftovers, or have a steak or a pork chop for breakfast. Or some days some unsweetened yogurt or cottage cheese w/berries & nuts or seeds, that's refreshing on hot days.
