Hi,

I’m Tali. This is my 4th day using the fitness app and I’m struggling with the 1500 calories plan. I’m still hungry. I’m trying to stick it out, at least for a month.

I don't know how you decided on 1500 calories. Is that too low? Are you just cutting calories without adding anything? Check out the volume eating thread for ideas for low-calorie but filling foods. And see the produce thread for veggies and fruit in season and good ways to prepare them. Make sure you're getting adequate nutrition for your health.
    Good luck on your journey.

Hello. Are you sure 1500 is your best bet?

Calorie calculator is a good source to double-check: https://www.calculator.net/calorie-calculator.html#:~:text=Though it differs depending on,the U.S Department of Health.

Are you maybe working out really hard, which may require extra calories?

Also curious, do you have food addictions? Just asking because that was a big part of my own problem; for me it was carbs. Added sugar, and anything starchy like bread & flour products, pasta, cereal, rice, potatoes, corn, bananas, etc. would trigger hunger/cravings/desire to binge eat. Never felt satisfied walking away from a table if I had any of those foods.

I finally realized not everyone can eat their trigger foods in moderation and it may be best to avoid them, at least until you really feel you've got a handle on them.
