Hello and I have a question.

Greetings, I’m new to MyFitnessPal, I’m a 57 year old school bus driver who is tired of wearing a APap mask to bed every night, and my doctor told me about this app to help me lose weight in order to get down to 250 lbs, the acceptable BMI to get the inspire implant. I started out at 288, and in a month have gotten down to 272, but I am just hovering there now. How do I jumpstart the weight loss process? Any suggestions?

You are in the right place. Welcome!
It's common to lose a lot the first few days, then slow down. Much of the initial loss may be water weight. Eat at a deficit and the pounds will come off. Find activity you like, do it as often as you can. You may lose a little faster, your health will improve, and you might be happier.
Keep coming back for more information.
Good luck!0 -
