Basegoal and calories consumed

Hi OK so it's set my base goal to 1220 a day, I exercise 5/6 days 25-35 mins on elliptical following the ifit programs ( I do have a habit of putting the resistance up one from the stated) so everyday I see I consume around 1300-1600 then I exercise and that takes off 300 plus do that I usually have it saying 1220 base with like 55-80 remaining if not zero. Does this mean my body at end of day is taking in only the base amount? And so I am on right track?( I do take xls medical if its a fatty meal) I just wanna make sure I'm on right track as only intended to lose 15-20kg in whole time.
