What is it that you want to know, Kate?
The biggest secret: Feeling full and happy is totally individual. 5 people here could tell you how they eat, and it would all be completely different. Nutrition in itself doesn't need to be cleaned up. A half varied diet should provide everything you need (unless you're vegan, because supplementing B12 is a must then).2 -
I’m a macros tracker. I struggled in till I started tracking over 8 years ago. It allows me to understand how balanced I’m eating, make intelligent choices (sometimes you want to eat the garbage), and hold myself accountable. If I’m hungry, I go for volume, if I’m not, I focus on hitting my protein numbers. It allows me a lot of flexibility.
There is a group on FB macrosinc, it’s where I got started. I’m sure there are other great resources for getting your personal macros numbers as well.2
