152lbs today. Almost back to my normal 150lbs weight. I feel amazing and can't be stopped now... lol
I watched my wife drink wine and eat a bag of chips yesterday after my one-hour walk. Wow what an eye opener!7 -
150.9 today, 5ish lbs more to go. I reset my goal to 145...3

You're on a roll!0 -
I have observed an odd pattern the last two or three years. Makes no sense to me for the most part. Last April yes - I was on a month-long rafting trip, and we had too much food. This year? No explanation. I seem to gain in summer. This seems odd because I'm pretty active in the summer. Go figure.
So after a slow gain starting in in late May with a few small corrections up through just about the September equinox, I am getting things back in order. Today I re-entered my maintenance range again, at least by scale weight. My rolling average, which is what I really pay more attention to, will catch up in a few days.
I popped out of maintenance right around the first of July. Why I didn't address it right away I'm not sure. I guess my head was in the sand. Well, now I can see the light.

149lbs today. 4 more to go.
Slow and steady wins the race!4 -
Heh, outta the 150s.
That's something only we would cheer, right? :flowerforyou: Good job!!2 -

Way to stick to it.
Funny coincidence; Me too!
I let myself go up out of maintenance over the summer. Slow and steady increase starting late May. Minor correction in early July, then up again. I currently claim that my absolute maintenance range is 140-153 and ideally 142-148. I was out of the absolute range from early June to mid-July, and then again from mid-August until just a few days ago. I try to ignore daily weight and rely on averages. Neither scale nor average is back in the ideal range, but I'm heading that way quickly, and after a few odd days, the scale finally showed the first two digits as 14 instead of 15.
Like they say when they get off the ski lift; See you at the bottom!

Hello all
Hit 146lbs today 1pound to go for my new maintenance weight of 145.
I was 165lbs and climbing on Sep 06th...
Have my calories dialed in pretty well and don't really log anymore but I will continue so I don't slip back into bad habits again.
I have said this before, and I will say it again. I eliminated all alcohol and highly processed foods and that has turned this ship around big time.
cheers!

Yay @xbowhunter. Well done. I'm still pushing my way back down with a few hiccups along the way.
I never got up to 165 this time. Scale said 161 a couple times, and rolling average hit 158. I got back into third gear almost a month after you did, so maybe in a few weeks I'll join you at goal. Mine is almost the same as yours, but I have this silly number in mind that's just a bit smaller. I'm actually at a fine weight if I stay right exactly where I am currently bouncing around between 145 and 150, but I know I can get to that elusive number, and I shall.
Keeping it there, as we know, is a whole other game.
And I am find with doing the up and down within a small range because I do like to go nuts with tasty foods from time to time. Like yesterday at the mushroom festival when I had a big bowl of mushroom soup with fresh artisan bread after a large breakfast. Funny though - I ate extra yesterday evening to catch up on being way under calories for the week. That was just silly. At least I stopped before I dove into another avocado.2 -

Nicely done!
Yesterday I had pasta then 2 Pices of pizza. Talk about a carb overload...lol
On the bright side I had zero Halloween candy.
It's all good though today is a new day and back to my usual food groups that are full of nutrients my body needs and keep me full with no carb crash!
cheers

Need to up my calories a bit or keep going to see if my weight stabilizes.
On a scale of 1 to 10 I feel like an 11 with tons of energy and no more brain fog...2 -
Congratulations on surpassing your goal and then observing so you can make fine-tune adjustments. I bet you'll stabilize. It might even be right where you want to land.
Yay!2 -
Looking at my weight report it shows I have been maintaining between 145 to 140lbs for about a month now. I think I finally found the sweet spot for calories consumed to maintain my weight. What a huge relief! I will continue to weigh most days and stay the course. The holiday break end of December will be challenging but I know I can do it as long as I don't let my guard down and keep alcohol and sweeets out of my mouth.2

Great update - congratulations! Seems pretty normal for plans and tactics to need fine-tuning over time. Recognizing that and acting on it, as you've done, is key. Wishing you the best over the holiday part especially!2
