New but not new

Hey everyone. I’m new again (been 10+ years since I was on MFP) and I’m hoping that now I’m ready to really do this. I’ve gone up and down for years but I’m almost back to my highest after losing 50+lbs before covid. I need to do it the right way for a few reasons I now have a 12 yo watching me, I don’t really want to get cut open to fix a heart valve defect that I’ve had since birth yet and I want to help motivate my wife to do this with me as well.

I know a little bit about heart healthy diets but haven’t really done any in the past, hell I still use salt on everything and drink gallons of coffee a day.

Not sure what else to put or why I even put the stuff I did other than having it down and seeing may help me at some point.
