weight gain and loss

Hi all. So I've lost around half a stone in the space of 2 months (excluding holidays etc!). I was 80kg and my goal is 75kg, with the aim to then loose some more. I'm a 22 year old guy but I keep on loosing some weight and gaining some. For example, on Monday the 25th of October I was 76.4kg. I measured this for a few days and stayed consistently around this weight. Then I went on a few nights out and am now 77.3kg. Is this all water retention or will it eventually go as it seems like a lot, to put on a whole 1kg in just a few days! It can be frustrating when I loose 1.5kg in a month then seemingly gain it after a few night out. Any advice would be great, thanks.

It's totally water retention. Actual fat gain or loss doesn't happen from one day to another. Any fast change is water or poop weight.

This happens to me. I took the advice of another poster on here and started using the Libra weight tracking app, and it really helps to see that you are still on the right track. That's my suggestion!

Yes. No. Probably. Yes water retention.

But also totally a few too many nights of pitchers of beer washing down nachos, potato skins, chicken wings and a few dozen dips can easily add up.

I mean... why did you hit your high weight?🤷‍♂️

Sure you can go out and enjoy.

But if you go out and repeat what got you to the high weight.... that's where you'll end up again!

    Enjoy.
