Hitting a Plateau

I have lost 13 lbs so far in a month and a half, but I have hit a plateau. I know that I probably need to now include exercise to continue to lose weight. I need to stop being lazy and actually get up and go to the gym or do an exercise here at home. I work 70 hours a week roughly with two jobs, so it is hard for me to balance, working out, eating properly, spending time with my family, and just everyday house hold stuff.

How does everyone else get themselves motivated in the morning to workout?

First of all: you don't need to workout to lose weight. (But exercise is obviously good for your physical and mental health.)

Secondly: what do you call a plateau? We see many impatient people here, often complaining about a 'plateau' of only a few days. Weight-loss is not linear because we have natural fluctuations of water weight and food waste in our system - you need to take a look at the longer term picture to evaluate progress. If it's been less than a month/menstrual cycle, it isn't a plateau and just need to be more patient. Without knowing anything about you (your current weight, height, etc.) 13 lbs in 6 weeks is very fast, you can't expect a constant rate of loss like that. An average of 0.5-1% of your bodyweight per week is the recommended rate, and that needs to be judged over a period of at least a month.
