Getting sleep info from Garmin

As a new user here, can someone advise how to link my Garmin sleep info to MF page? The steps come over already.
Thanks
Kevin

@Kws991 It is a good question. I saw that MFP just rolled out their "Sleep" tracking. I think it has only been a couple of days. I have not yet seen my Garmin sleep data sync'd over to MFP yet, but it is probably a new feature.

If you figure it out, please post back here.

I hope you do understand that in order to link your sleep data, it has to go through Apple Health or Google Health Connect, at least according to MFP's documentation here:

    https://support.myfitnesspal.com/hc/en-us/articles/19620013345805-Sleep-Partner-FAQ-Troubleshooting

I have no idea whether Garmin syncs to those or not, or in what ways.

I have a Garmin, but my sleep data there is so idiotic that I wouldn't dream of syncing it anywhere. Mind you, I'm not saying the Garmin sleep data is wrong for others, just that it's wrong - so, so wrong! - for me. I have one, probably two sleep disorders, a low resting heart rate (especially for my age) and some other characteristics that might make my sleep patterns very non-average.

I knew it routinely thought I was asleep for long periods of time when I was actually awake, and I have timestamps on texts and emails and things to prove it, during periods it imagined I was sleeping; and also the reverse, though slightly less frequently, times it mysteriously thinks I'm awake when AFAIK I'm asleep.

Ultimately, I had a chance to compare it to an in-hospital sleep study, and share it with the sleep tech who monitored my sleep all night with various electronic do-dads, electrodes all over my body, tubes measuring breathing, even video that let her look into the room. I always have extra trouble sleeping during sleep studies - yes, I've had multiple - and that was no exception. I'd been awake for hours, lying very still and breathing calmly to try to sleep, and the tech of course knew it, too. We looked at the Garmin in the morning. Both of us laughed and laughed.

Bottom line, I have no info except what's in the MFP documentation, and it looks like it can't sync from Garmin to MFP without some additional work on your side, and I haven't looked at whether the link from Garmin to those apps will even do what you're looking for.

Good luck! If you learn anything further, I hope you'll report back here to help others. Sorry I can't help you.
