I lost 52 lbs during COVID, reaching my ideal weight. I felt great! But then life returned to normal, I went back to managing an active family of four, working two jobs and not eating, sleeping or exercising well. Increased stress and bad habits led to me gaining all that weight back within two years. My afib went from paroxysmal to persistent at rates 200-225 beats per minute. I was heading towards heart failure, struggling with sugar, and was scared by heart related hospitalization at 46! I went on meds and finally had a successful ablation, giving me a second chance at a healthy heart, and to help take care of that and my overall health I need to lose 45 lbs and reduce my A1C. I need accountability to reduce sugar and calorie intake, exercise more, and eat less processed foods. I also want to try some yoga and mindfulness. Who wants to take this journey with me?
