Getting back on board

I think low Carb could work for me. Sugary foods are my downfall. When I have one I can't seem to stop; that makes me feel like I want to abandon the effort. So, I yo-yo alot and that sucks too. Looking for the middle way and some support. I have a backpacking goal a year and a half away. I am a veteran and get some help from the VA. Would love to join a support forum that I could check in with. Thanks, Greg
