Hello

I am fairly new to my fitness pal. I found it discouraging at first as I was often going over my calorie intake etc. BUT that is the point to see what I need to change. I have learned so much about different foods and their nutritional value Even the HEALTHIEST of foods-I would see my intakes increase on these hence my discouragement. I think I am getting the hang of it some but I am always open to learning more. Looking forward to this journey.

    That was likewise my experience starting out. It’s hard getting the hang of it at first but it becomes second nature pretty quickly. Logging was shocking at first, but I tamed it as I learned good substitutions and found new foods.

    You sound a lot like me in the beginning and I successfully lost 40% of me. 😇
