Varied caloric intake ok?

My TDEE is about 2200 cal so I set my goal around 1700. Some days (like today) I wasn't hungry and I ate only around 1000 cal (and biked to and from work, around 300 cals burned). So MFP is telling me I have about 1000 cals left to eat today.
Other days I go over 1700 and maybe eat as much as 2500. Should I be trying to just hit 1700/day or can I average it out over, say, a week?
I'm stalling in a major way (started at 214 in early July and have been between 207-210 for the last 3 weeks).... Not sure what's going on exactly. Help!

Yes it is okay to take an average calorie intake. You have an average daily intake of 1950 calories per day over the last two months and 2200 less 1950 is 250 per day cut which should be 1/2 pound loss per week average or 4 pounds loss for 2 months. Congratulations on your loss you are doing a great job! My wife is also 5' 5" and has lost 100 pounds eating 1400 to 1800 calories per day.0
