My step tracker is off brand. How do I record my steps?
I tried unchecking the box but it didn't work.

    Although we hope to expand on this feature in the future, currently Step tracking is limited to certain devices (iOS and Android) and supported partner apps.

    Steps should be available when using an iPhone with the M7/M8 processor or when you have linked your MyFitnessPal account with compatible Steps partners such as Apple Watch, Fitbit, Withings, Polar, Samsung Health, Garmin, and GoogleFit.

    The best way to see if your device or partner is compatible is to first make sure you are running on the latest version of the App, then visit the Menu, or More section within the App, then Steps. If Steps are available the option to connect should be available there.
