Older Boys!!

Don't ignore the symptoms,
Peeing alot, difficulty peeing, irregular peeing.
Get yourself checked out,a simple PSA test will indicate a abnormality.
Ignore it and it's likely to be
a problem you don't want.
I'm just starting my journey to "cure" prostate cancer, left any longer and it would have been a lot more serious. Don't suffer from "Ostrich Syndrome". I had minimal symptoms but a check indicated the presence of cancer, luckily contained!. I still feel fit as a Butchers Dog so Please Guys don't ignore it!!
Regards Mike

Get a Quest once or twice a year. Complete blood panel is only 160.00. PSA, cholesterol and all other markers. In and out in 15 minutes and results emailed in 4 days. No need to schedule with your doctor if you'd rather. You get a doctor consultation if any issues show up or take the results to your GP.nr65cneef74l.png

Wishing you all the best with your treatment OP - and good advice for others.

I know this will obviously vary by country - in Australia a PSA check is recomended for men between ages of 50 to 75 and it will be covered by Medicare annually. (ie free to patients)

pretty much in the province (and possibly the whole country) we are moving to NOT doing routine PSA screening. https://www.healthlinkbc.ca/health-topics/prostate-cancer-screening-should-i-have-psa-test

there are other "web sayings and recommendations" from various health authorities that seem to imply that if you're not expecting to be around for more than 10-15 years (for example in your're in your 70's or if you're the proud owner of potentially life shortening issues)... don't worry (or check) on your PSA: ignorance is bliss and you're more likely to croak from something else first...

I'm not happy about all that.
