Hi all! I am new to the community but not to myfitnesspal. This is probably time 100 on the health journey hoping to succeed this time and to stop the comments from other about being overweight.
Busy working taking care of 3 kids and husband, find it hard to fit in time for exercise or me time in general because i feel guilty and too tired to cook. Need some motivation hope i can find some friends on here who feel the same, so we can all support each other and maybe spur one another along.

If you want to lose weight, MAKE TIME to track your food. Not just for you, but for your family. They deserve the best you that you can possibly be. It only takes a few minutes a day. Exercise is good, but I understand sometimes you're busy, and it does take a while. I hope you find your support here.
One thing I did when I had kids at home--cook 2 meals at once. Soup on the back burner to heat up tomorrow while you're cooking tonight. Or add stuff to the crockpot while you're cooking. In the fridge tonight. Tomorrow morning set it on low to be ready for supper. Or, cook in crockpot overnight, fridge in the morning. Heat up for supper.0 -
I rely on pre-made salads and bagged lettuce and just add a soup or sandwich to it. Frozen veggies in steam bags to throw in the microwave. Buckets of chicken and prepared mashed potatoes for family and I will just have a protein shake.i throw a whole chicken in the crackpot on low for 8 hours and debone it for lunchmeat.much cheaper at $1.39 /lb then sliced deli meats.you can use it for tacos.quesadillas.casseroles.or just pull the skin off and serve it for dinner. You can cut an acorn squash in half or throw in some potatoes with the skins on also while your cooking it in the crockpot.or throw a beef or pork roast in with carrots onions onion soup mix with cream soup mixed with a can of water.for 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high0
