Adderall and Binge Eating Disorder

Hello,

I have recently been prescribed 10 mg twice daily of Adderall for possible ADHD. I do believe I have binge eating disorder via my nutritionist's opinion. Does Adderall help that by increasing dopamine? I wake up in the middle of the night and want to eat for reasons of what feels like boredom.

Any other experiences with Adderall? Does it increase anxiety, etc.? I know this isn't a medical question format, but I thought I would ask that too!

    Adderall does increase anxiety. BUT....it often decreases anxiety in people with true ADHD. It is what they call a paradoxical effect (opposite effect).

    I know, it's strange! I don't think I'll take it because my (if) ADHD would be barely noticeable anyway. But I like that it is said to treat Binge Eating Disorder.
