I think its helpful for the right reasons. As far as for weight management I've found it helpful to do as a way to reset my appetite and take a back seat to some of the stress I've been experiencing relating to food.

I agree. I'm currently trying 16/8 fast. I try to start my fast after 6pm. If you sleep 7hrs from 11pm it's quite easy not to eat until 10am. But I do recommend exercise too.2

I lost 18 kgs back in 2019 by doing intermittent fasting and a Kapha pacifying diet.
I also practice fasting between meals and Ekadashi fasting by eating lighter meals, which tracks moon cycles bi-monthly.0 -
I fast everyday, currently on a 16/8 and do 2 - 24 hours fasts. It has helped me drop a crazy amount of bf% in the last 90 days.2
