Is any maintenance done on the foods database.

I've used MFP for several years, and the database is so cluttered with incorrect and/or out of date items that it often takes half an hour to input or create a new item with the correct information. I'm guessing it's no better with the paid program. I was initially unhappy that they took away barcodes in the free version, but even those pulled up incorrect items or out of data nutrition information.
I realize that creating an automatic clean up program would not resolve the issue because most experienced users (including myself) are adding initials, or codes when they have to create an item to get correct nutritional information.
I know the old saying is "you get what you pay for" - but I'm guessing it would be the same issue with the premium plan.

I couldn't't agree more! Same problem in Premium!
Incomplete and grossly inaccurate entrees are a real problem ... dilute the accuracy of collective data!0
