If you are trying to lose some kilos, you need to run a reasonable calorie deficit first and foremost.
You likely can fit ~some~ nuts into your diet if you log honestly and completely. Nuts are chock full of calories, so you'll need to eat them in moderation. Almonds are high in protein. Hazelnuts are pretty tasty.
The best nuts for "general health" are "not too many nuts."

How many calories do you need a day to lose .5 lbs a week?
If they fit in your calorie goal then enjoy! But as you’ll see, they can use up your calories pretty quickly if you're not careful.3

Even though the nutrients in different tree nuts are a little different, they're pretty close to the same.
Peanuts aren't tree nuts, so they differ.
So I say have a few of your favorite.0 -
I absolutely loveeeeee redskin peanuts!
But for 40g they are 260 something calories 😱😱 but I could eat a whole bag of them!
Nuts are very calorific! But they are supposed to be good sources of fibre xx0 -
Have you considered seeds? Hemp Hearts are quite nutritious. Higher protein than almonds.
They are tasty sprinkled on oatmeal/salads, etc.,
But if you are trying to lose weight with a diet that supports this 'mission' there are lower-calorie great sources of nutrition (protein etc.,) items that would be more satiating.1
