Hello MFP - goodbye 30lbs (hopefully!)

I've been trying to eat healthier and exercise consistently for the last month or so but haven't been seeing many results. My boss introduced MFP to me to help me track calories. So far very helpful!

Hi and welcome! Sounds like I'm in the same boat as yourself- about the same to lose and have been eating well and exercising consistently for just over three weeks now, but no real results on the scales. I'm working with a trainer in my local gym who has put me on a new program of sprint interval training in a bid to kick start my sluggish metabolism (years of bad eating, skipping meals, infrequent exercise etc). It's tough and you need a decent base fitness, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to see results over the next week or two!
Keep at it! It's that much harder if you haven't that much to lose- your bod really wants to hang on to it!
